Smells like dead fish. Quite literally, the grossest smelling building I have ever been inside. I slept in my car. They didn’t even try to mask it with air fresheners… Honestly confused and feel catfished by the property (pun intended). The fellow clientele were also, let’s just say, not exactly discerning. Probably would have been a classier experience at the motel 6 in Oakland. In all seriousness the embassy suits is about 20% cheaper and a million times better than this place.

This is a hidden gem. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is excellent (don't ever stop offering make-your-own waffles) and rates are fair. With free parking (something that's getting hard to find), this is a real gem. And, as promised, I'm very pleased to acknowledge the outstanding courtesy and support provided by Hardeep, the front desk manager. Thank you Hardeep. This place has the absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. After 5 days of trying to reach BETH, the so called manager, I decided to write this review and also sent an email to their corporate office. It has gotten to the point where I call and they just leave me on hold as long as 20- 30 minutes, just to avoid speaking with me. I talked with Marisol "supervisor" , Lupita "director" and all have blown me off. And not to mention the manager, "BETH". Left messages for her with all these people, left VM, and nothing. I recently stayed here for 6 days, 5 nights. NOT ONCE DID I RECEIVE ANY KIND OF SERVICE FROM HOUSEKEEPING MY ENTIRE STAY. I WENT TO THE FRONT DESK SEVERAL TIMES TO REQUEST HOUSEKEEPING AND EVEN TALKED TO BETH FROM MY ROOM. SHE ASSURED OUR ROOM WOULD BE CLEANED. NEVER HAPPENED, IN 6 DAYS!!! NO FRESH LINENS, NO CLEAN TOWELS, NO TOILET PAPER, HAD TO EMPTY OUR OWN TRASH WITH NO WHERE TO EMPTY IT. AS A PAYING CUSTOMER, OVER $1200 FOR OUR STAY, I FIND THIS AS A FRAUD, JUST BECAUSE YOU DON'T WANT TO PAY EMPLOYEES FOR HOUSEKEEPING. AND READING PREVIOUS REVIEWS, IT SEEMS LIKE THEY ARE NOTORIOUS FOR NOT WANTING TO PROVIDE HOUSEKEEPING. AVOID THIS PLACE IF YOU AR PLANNING AN EXTENDED STAY.

I recently had a reservation issue, and Marisoll Castro went above and beyond to help resolve it. She was professional, patient, and genuinely cared about making sure everything was handled properly. The front desk staff were also friendly and helpful throughout the process, which made the experience even better. That level of service really stood out and made a big difference in my stay. Great location, excellent service, and spacious rooms—just be sure to choose your room wisely if you’re a light sleeper. I checked in online and was initially assigned room 329 facing the highway, which turned out to be a mistake since I’m very sensitive to noise. The next morning, Marisol at the front desk sincerely apologized for the rough night and immediately moved me to an even-numbered room on the opposite side of the highway. What a difference! Thanks to her quick and attentive help, I was finally able to rest well. She even let me borrow a basketball so I could shoot around a bit—great perk along with the hot pool and fire pit. The hotel is literally right next to downtown, making it so easy to enjoy nearby restaurants and shops. And the breakfast? Awesome—fresh strawberries and blueberries, nice hot oatmeal, and a made to order omelette station that really stood out. Highly recommended!

I have stayed here twice in the past few years and the rooms are nice and clean with everything you can ask for, I especially love their 2 bedroom suite. I would definitely stay here again when I visit the area. The only complain I have is that the staff refusing to send house keeping to clean the room even with a 3 night stay, the front desk also keeps making excuses and never sends them unless you go and request service in person.

Hyatt House Pleasant Hill is very conveniently located. Shopping and dining within a short walking distance. Great freeway access. Centrally located between Concord and Walnut Creek. Rooms are very spacious and comfortable and they serve a full complementary breakfast. The rooms could use some updating but they are always very clean.

I love this place. The suite is spacious, quiet and clean. The bed is comfortable. The breakfast is very good. There is an omelette station. They serve hard boiled eggs, plain yogurt, oatmeal and fruit salad if you are looking for healthy options. Everything is fresh. Unlike some hotel breakfasts, I had hard time to find healthy food. Will definitely stay here next time I am in the area.

My trip got canceled due to a family emergency and I called and emailed the hotel about my cancellation. Although my reservation was refundable, I was told that an exception would be made. The very first booking agent I spoke with advised that I contact Hyatt of Pleasant Hill directly. I did. according to Marisol Castro, the manager of Hyatt of Pleasant Hill, my cancellation was going to be forgiven and that I was going to get a full refund. According to booking agents, however, Hyatt had to directly email them the authorization. I contacted Hyatt again and spoke with the manager who assured me that this would be done. I also gave my email address and asked to be CCed on the email that would be sent to booking.com. That did not happen. That and the multiple back-and-forth between Hyatt of Pleasant Hill and the multiple AI agents from booking, lead me to believe that they knew from the beginning that I was never going to get a refund but they found pleasure in wasting my time and energy. Words cannot describe how deeply frustrated, disappointment and dissatisfied I am with this entire process. I don’t like writing negative reviews and it took everything in me to put my experience into words. This is in hopes that someone would read and be aware of the different tactics that are used to exploit people. Although it appeared that Hyatt were trying to work with me, I was not cc’ed on any emails to Booking as requested and at the end of the day, I did not get refunded.
