Booked our upcoming trip a month ago via Expedia. We were notified this morning that due to overbooking, the hotel was canceling our reservation. We book well in advance to avoid this. Won’t bother booking here again if this is how they treat guest reservations.

Cheapest I could squeeze into. Most comfortable sleep I had in a while!! Heater&AC worked. I’m home for Thanksgiving and our house was crowded so I booked a room for a night. Easy check in&out. Friendly service. I would definitely stay here again.

Very friendly and accommodating staff, good safe parking with officers in the area and nice neighborhood. Rooms are clean and confortable, best bang for your buck in the area.

I have stayed here plenty of times. Might have changed ownership a few times, Always been a great stay with really good prices, centrally located, but away from downtown noise. The mall is just down the street and a small "strip" mall with a few places to eat close by. (AND a liquor store...a must!) Never had a bad experience even when requesting a room change. Sometimes, I take the only room that's downstairs because it's pretty quiet. Owners have always been accommodating.

I was lied to the first interaction I had with a clerk at Pleasant Hill Inn. I asked for a military discount due to my husband's service. I was told the hotel could not change the room charge because I had booked the room through a 3rd party. I had not! I booked the room directly on the the hotel's website. Secondly, the room we were originally assigned had a non-functioning deadbolt lock. I asked for a change of rooms. Thirdly, one time when my husband went outside to smoke, a staff member shooed him away from the entrance to the hotel. So, he stood by the corner of the building. They came back out to tell him to stand further away, even though he was standing by the smoking sign and outdoor ashtray! Finally, I felt like we were treated like 2nd class citizens at the place. I see other reviews written by apparently business-class people, and these reviews say they were treated well by staff. My husband and I are from the rural Midwest, and we dress comfortably, not fashionably. We were not greeted when we walked in or out of the building right past desk clerks. This is highly unusual to me. Not a "hello," "goodnight," or "have a nice day." The price was OK, but next time I am in the area I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Highly recommended. Very central location. Very safe and quiet. Would recommend to anyone comming to the Bay Area for a stay.

Horrible customer service. From the moment we walked in. The guy at the front desk was very unpleasant and no customer service what so ever. They really don’t care about offering any type of service but collecting your money. He also stereotyped me and boyfriend . Belittled us and assumed we were going to smoke. He took it upon his self to remind us twice! That’s the first thing he said when he gives us the contract to sign and then he reiterated it when we walk off as if we never visited a hotel before . We also had to hook up our own tv and wifi password was not available. I would not recommend this place at all!!!! What a waste of money.

I really enjoyed my stay here! The room was really nice and clean. We had a sliding glass door that led to a balcony with a table and chairs. There was also a nice view. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The location is amazing.

Place is decent, kinda clean. Old decor, rooms are a bit small. The whole place smelled old, had a weird closed in smell a little musty. We requested 2 room keys & they both didn't work at the same time until the last night there. They do offer continental breakfast, pretty good options & it's all ready laid out early morning.
